I am now involved in the planning of Australia's first Social Innovation Camp, modelled on the successfull UK SIcamp with ASIX. Expect news soon here and on my blog.

Connecting Up was a fantastic success. I've posted a quick summary of my feelings post event on my blog here. My presentation was good, though technical problems prevented me giving the demonstration I'd planned on using. I'm currently updating the presentation and will upload it shortly. I'm also working on a presentation on using Twitter/Facebook/MySpace and other social networks for your organisations community building and networking.

As a result of inspiration from Connecting Up, I'm starting a Sydney #NetTuesday meetup group. The group will meet monthly (on a Tuesday if you can believe it) to discuss IT and Social Networking issues for third sector organisations. A chance to share your success and failures, learn from others and find out what the latest tools are and what other organisations are doing.
